Financial Policy

Time of Payment

Payment is expected from the patient at the time of service to help reduce administrative costs and keep our fees to you as low as possible. We accept cash, check, Visa/Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We offer special financing through Care Credit for those who need extended payment options. Please note all special payment arrangements must be finalized prior to treatment.

Insurance

We are not a provider for and do not contract with any insurance company. However, as a courtesy to our patients, we will process and submit insurance claims and pre-authorizations. Patients with Delta Dental will need to pay at the time of treatment, as Delta Dental will not assign benefits to a non- participating dentist. Patients with insurances that assign benefits, we will collect your percent not covered at the time of service. Patients must understand that our treatment plans are only an estimate and insurance companies are not always predictable and don’t always provide us with total information. The financial obligation for dental treatment is between you and our office. Your insurance is a contract between you, your employer and the insurance company. We are not a part of that contract. We will assist you in any way that we can by filing your claims and working to obtain your maximum available benefits. However, it is your obligation to familiarize yourself with your insurance coverage as benefits vary and not all services are covered in all contracts. If your insurance claim is unresolved and goes past 60 days it will be your obligation to pay your account in full.

Minor Patients

The person who accompanies a minor to an appointment and/or requests treatment for a minor agrees to be responsible for payment of the treatment rendered.

Failed/Cancelled Appointments

We reserve the right to charge for appointments cancelled or broken without two business days’ notice.

Courtesy Fee Reduction

As a courtesy to our patients, we offer a 5% discount on treatment fees amounting to more than $1,000 if the fee is paid by cash or check prior to the appointment.

In the event of an overdue balance, there will be a 1% monthly interest fee. For fees over $1,000.00, please inquire about an extended payment plan.
